MODERN: GW BOGLES

RD 1 Living End (W)
RD 2 4c Omnath-Ring Control (W)
RD 3 URB Deathshadow's (L)
RD 4 GW Bogles (W)

RD 1
Game three vs Living End: Reprieve his Living End. No Force of Negation to back it up, win.

RD 2
Game three vs Omnath-Ring Control: The opponent had a turn two Chalice of the Void for one and my hand had: Rancor Umbra Spider, and Sentinel's Eyes while I had a 5/3 trample first strike Bogle with an Audacity and Ethereal Armor on the table. My next two draws: All That Glitters and Daybreak Coronet. The opponent failed to find an answer in time. Win.

RD 3
Game one: first opening hand had no lands, so I shipped them back to my library for another batch. The second seven had one land. Part of me wanted to mull it but part of me wanted to keep it. I decided to go with the latter. Alas, I never draw the second land. Further, to add salt to injury, the opponent Spell Pierced two of my one-drop aura spells. Game two: Engineered Explosives obliterated my dream of leveling the round. Never recovered after that.

RD 4
Mirror game: of all the mirror games I had in my MTG life, this is probably going to be my favorite mirror match of all time. I won game one because I had two Ethereal Armors + one All that Glitters + Rancor versus opponent's two Ethereal Armor effects. Game two: The opponent was stuck at one land during the first three (or four) turns; and by the time his second land hit play, it was too late because I already had a 21/x flying, trample, first strike, lifelink, hexproof, and has protection from creatures Light-Paw on the table.

RD 1 Rakdos Scam W
RD 2 Tron W
RD 3 5C Ring Control L
RD 4 UR Prowess L
RD 5 UR Murktide L
RD 6 no-show W

RD 1
Hexproof and Daybreak Coronet played big factors in this round.

RD 2
I won the round because of the totem armor effect and Light-Paws' tutor for an aura card triggered ability.

RD 3, 4, and 5
All three losses have one common denominator, Engineered Explosives. The home team never recovered from each devastation it made.

RD 6
No show. Probably the easiest win in this tournament report. ^_^

RD 2 UR Murktide W
RD 3 UB Control Draw
RD 4 Mono White Hammer L
RD 5 Amulet Titan

I lost the paper containing my notes from the event. So I am just writing this from memory. Here are the things that I can still recall.

Versus UB Control, I had a very commanding board and my life total points reached 130 plus until Sheoldred's Edict turned the tides. From there, my Bogles either gets countered or edict effect.

Heroic Intervention saved my team from the wrath of Engineered Explosives.

Light-Paws (4/4 first strike and reach) had two totem armors attached to it. The opponent cast Unholy Heat (with delirium) dealing 6 damage to my white cat. Only one of the totem armors gets sacrificed. The other stays with it.

RAUTFC! This happened when my 9/9 indestructible, vigilance, reach, and first strike white 2/2 cat blocked the opponent's germ token equipped with Kaldra Compleat. My white cat went to oblivion as a result of me not RAUTFC.

I gave the win to my last opponent.

And since this is all about Bogles, I'd also share some of my MTGO clips.

This is all for now.

Thank you for reading!

Have a safe day!
