Those basic lands were actually a last-minute adjustment to the deck. I originally had a Misty Rainforest and a Temple Garden in the sixty but had them replaced with basic lands because of fear of getting locked by Blood Moon; or getting Strip Mined by Field of Ruins or Ghost Quarters; or turning their Path to Exile into a solid one-drop removal.

I had a lot of, should I say, uncontested wins like the opponent (i) mulled to five or some even went down to four; (ii) got stuck on two lands; (iii) their combo fizzled; and (iv) they were just simply drawing bricks.

Whack moments are the best things to experience from this deck. I had numerous turn three and turn four of these. There were also situations that were done in the late game - like one big push for the win. But the sweetest of them all were those executed on turn two.

Another memorable moment, actually moments because it happened many times, were situations wherein the opponent miscalculated the damages from my one-drop army.

I also had those not-so-sweet moments.

This game against Esper Control wherein the opponent had an answer to every card I play. From Fatal Pushes, Snapcaster Mage to repeat whatever was available in the graveyard. Logic Knot, Mana Leak, and Cryptic Command (counter-tap all creatures just to delay or counter-draw or tap-draw) to Kaya's Guile and even denying my Lightning Bolt with Force of Negation. Name it, he's got it all.

The RW Prowess opponent had three Kor Firewalkers on the table. A very unfortunate thing to see for any red base deck for we cannot outrace such gain life activity.

A turn two Chalice for of the Void for one and my hand as it resolves: fetchland, Kird Ape, Goblin Guide, Lightning Bolt, Narnam Renegade, and Chained to the Rocks.

And lastly, I tried to regenerate my Experiment One in front of Wrath of God.

That would be all for now. Thank you for reading! Please be safe always people!
